2nd-generation Asus-made Full HD Nexus 7 release date could be in May

The Asus-made Google Nexus 7 sequel is expected to land in May of 2013, according to DigiTimes. The report hints that Google is working with ASUS to introduce the sequel of Nexus 7 and the expected tablet will be unveiled in May.

2nd-generation Nexus 7 will feature a Full HD screen, which is supposed to have 1920X1080 pixel resolutions and smaller bezels. The device is also expected to be thinner and priced the same as the original model, so the price will be varied from $199 to $249. The tablet will run by an upgraded version of Jelly Bean, which builds us consider that Google is going to introduce more update of Jelly Bran ahead of unveiling Key Lime Pie.

The Google annual I/O event has been scheduled for May 15-17 of 2013 and which could be an ideal time to announce the Nexus 7 sequel.

Before this month, we found that Google was as well working to release a new Nexus 10 tablet. The new Nexus 10 tablet should have a quad-core processor and an 8-core Mali T678 GPU, which will be made by Samsung.
