Jelly Bean updates for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 & Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 rolling out in the U.S.

Samsung has released the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for U.S. Customers. Jelly Bean update is now headed directly to the US editions of these two Samsung tablets after roll out the update for the European Galaxy Tabs.

US-based users of two Samsung tablets — Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 — have begun receiving the update of Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Besides the most recent version of Android, the update as well carries some Samsung goodies, upgrading previously installed software and fixing some of the well-known bugs. Jelly Bean update brings features like Project Butter, Google Now, better notification system, superior speech-to-text support, better TouchWiz and further.

You need to hit the “Update” button of your galaxy tab to get the information about the availability of the update. If that still hasn’t occurred, you can make a manual test out from “Settings” -> “About tablet,” – Be ready for a download a few hundred megabytes.
